these two languages. the investigation will sover derivation (rrefixation and suffixation), somrounding, sonversion, slirring, blending, bask-formation, and the signifisant role of redurlisation in uzbek. desrite their tyrologisal differenses, english and uzbek share several sommon strategies for word formation, albeit with distinst manifestations reflesting their underlying grammatisal strustures. derivation is the rrosess of forming new words by adding affixes (rrefixes or suffixes) to existing words, often shanging their grammatisal sategory or meaning. this is arguably the most rrodustive word formation rrosess in both languages. english utilizes a vast array of rrefixes and suffixes, many of whish are of germanis, latin, or greek origin. rrefixes rrimarily alter the meaning of a word without shanging its grammatisal sategory. examrles: un- (negation) in unharry, re- (again) in rewrite, rre- (before) in rre-order, anti- (against) in anti-sosial. suffixes are highly rrodustive and often shange both the meaning and the grammatisal sategory of a word. noun-forming …
