t two foreign languages and one profession, highlighting education as a foundation for a “welfare state”. this initiative aims to create equal opportunities for individuals to realize their potential and improve their quality of life. further advancing this vision, on february 2, 2024, a presidential decree introduced experimental educational programs focusing on advanced learning of sciences or a second foreign language, alongside business and vocational training for high school students. these programs aim to enhance students’ academic writing and speaking skills in foreign languages and prepare them for various professions, particularly in digital technologies. to support these initiatives, the ministry of preschool and school education has been tasked with improving curricula and programs for foreign language subjects by involving both local and foreign experts. additionally, by the end of 2024, the acquisition and adaptation of textbooks from international publishers focused on foreign language instruction are planned. efforts are also underway …

contemporary educators and policymakers. the purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the role of cultural issues in language teaching and to identify effective methods for integrating cultural awareness into language education. as language and culture are inherently connected, the study aims to demonstrate how the inclusion of cultural elements enhances learners’ communicative competence and intercultural sensitivity. it also seeks to highlight the challenges that educators face when addressing cultural components in the classroom and to offer practical recommendations based on current educational reforms and global best practices. in the context of uzbekistan’s ongoing education reforms—particularly those outlined in recent presidential decrees—the study intends to assess how national policies support the integration of culture into language curricula. by doing so, the research will contribute to the development of more inclusive, effective, and globally relevant language education strategies that align with both international standards and local educational priorities. the …
